Within the framework of R&D evaluations using different virtual tools, we verify the required functions of the designed product.
Virtual analyses (FEM) comprise strength, endurance, vibration and thermal analyses as well as kinematic and collision and other analyses required for the product definition. At the planning stage of virtual analyses (FEM), a special concern is given to their conformity with subsequent testing allowing us to determine reliability of the virtual analyses (FEM) and their optimisation.
We have created an innovative method of non-linear numerical simulations or analysis of permanent product deformation which is not based on the »engineering« but on the proper tension and deformation curve of the material. By implementing the new method in the early stage of R&D evaluations, we obtain data about the product’s mechanical properties which are considerably closer to the product’s behaviour in the real situation.
